About Us

The statistics are staggering. Every year, over 600,000 people are reported missing. There are over 1,500 unidentified remains in Airzona. Each unresolved case represents grieving friends and family. "Missing" Days bring attention ot unresolved cases and aim to bring resolution to the famili8es of missing individuals. Anyone who knows of a missing person who was known to be in Arizona or even walk through the state is encouraged to attend.

Missing in Arizona is an interagency effort involving law enforcement, forensic scientists, Latin American consulates, and missing person advocacy groups to find foreign nationals who are believed to have entered the U.S. and disappeared. The Missing in Arizona experts assist relatives and loved ones searching for answers without regard to the citizenship status of the persons involved.

Identification requires fundamental detective work, use of forensic sciences including DNA matching and creating composite drawings, and developing and updating databases of missing persons. The assistance of the consulates is as important as the use of hard sciences and investigatory techniques.
