If you have a comment or complaint regarding the conduct of an Officer, Deputy, Posse Member or Civilian Employee of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office we want to know about it. Please complete the form below and click SEND to email it to the Sheriff's Professional Standards Bureau staff for review, or use the 'Printer-friendly' option to print the form and either mail or hand deliver it to any facility of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

The MCSO will make reasonable efforts to ensure that complainants who speak other languages (including sign language) and have limited English proficiency can file complaints in their preferred language. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office shall accept all civilian complaints, whether submitted verbally or in writing; in person, by phone, by mail, or online; by a complainant, someone acting on the complainant’s behalf, or anonymously; and with or without a signature from the complainant.

All public complaints are forwarded to the Professional Standards Bureau for investigation. Within seven days of receiving the complaint, the Professional Standards Bureau will mail a Complaint Acceptance letter to you. You will be notified in writing once the investigation is complete. This notification will include the findings of the investigation and any discipline imposed..
